I am just trying to defend my rights and need some legal advice. I purchased a house in Merced County over eight years ago. When I purchased the house it had a carport. I needed a garage and because the space was already there I built the carport into a garage, but I did so without a permit.  I have installed solar panels and electricity and I cannot afford to tear it down if that's what they will be forcing me to do. I am in need of immediate help with an eviction notice. I reside in Lancaster Ca. I have been living there for four years with my mother. My mother retired and was living in her mobile home in a space she rented from the Lancaster Estate. Because she was living out there she had asked me to come and live with her. My mother then passed in 2021 due to Corona Virus and now the Lancaster Estate is asking me to leave by tomorrow. Two months ago they placed an eviction notice on my mobile home. They didn't address it to anyone and they didn't give me directly, but there have been three patrol persons on the behalf of the mobile estate who came knocking on my door, telling me that I would have to leave by tomorrow and that they'll be back with patrol police to make me leave. They are asking me to leave because of a dog and someone was honking in the night. Someone was honking but it was not for me, it could have been for the neighbors.

The mobile home is owned by my mother and stepdad "P". My name is not on the title but my stepdad and I have agreed to sell the house. The home will be sold by May so I need until then to find a new place. I have been actively searching but I have not found somewhere as yet. My stepdad is currently living in San Diego because he couldn't handle the passing of my mother, so he is staying with friends. They were together for 50 years. My mother's stuff is still in the house, I haven't moved them out as yet, so I would not be able to leave the house by tomorrow.

I would like to be given some assistance before tomorrow if someone can reach out to me as soon as possible. I don't think it should be right legally what they are doing and I just need more time.

Can I pursue a lawsuit against a construction company that worked on my property? My house sustained water in it around 2020 in the second week of April and I made a claim to my insurance company. They came to my property to look at it and they gave me a referral to a construction company in my area named ANM Construction Environmental Services. I would visit my property every month and their work was shabby and months would pass where nothing was done to the property. The inspector came to the house one day when I was there and told me that something is correct. They ruined my house and destroyed me financially and emotionally.

Around the 7 of November 2021 when I was coming from work, I saw a contractor working on a property and asked him to come to look at my property. When he came to look at my property I broke down in tears and told him the whole story that I am a single parent with 3 children and the oldest has disabilities. He told me to go down to the building of safeties and tell them that it is my house and I need to change the permit from out the company’s name to my name. I found out that the insurance company went ahead and did an investigation and found out that there were only three signatures on the whole property. The insurance company paid for 8 months of housing for me and it was 2 years so I became homeless and had to spend money I didn’t have.

I need an eviction notice lawyer. I have been living at a place for 32 years and they are trying to move forward with an immediate eviction notice.

On Monday around 5:45 AM someone broke into the apartment and took some cameras and other stuff. They told me the person came from my wife’s unit and took some stuff put in a bag and leave. I was told that she is being evicted because they saw a big black guy come out of her unit and steal some stuff. I am on the investigation for burglary but when I went down to the police station yesterday they told me they have no evidence on me. I have seen where people’s units have been broken in before and they gave the victims eviction notice. They are evicting people that have lived there for a very long time and I think it is because they want to raise the rent.
