I want to file a claim against my brother XXXX XXXX for 180k and have the restraining order removed that he got against me so I can be with my mother to take care of her. I got into a fight with my brother on Aug 26, and Aug 31 in which my brother tried to run me over with his truck. On Aug 28th after our first fight he went by our mom's house along with the cops and told her that she needed to come with him because they were taking me to jail. So my mother XXXX XXXX packed her stuff and he took her from her home. Because of what my brother was trying to do I went to the bank where I shared an account with my mother on Aug 28th to withdraw the 12k that we had. I decided on Aug 30th to go put that money back but when I went to the bank my brother had closed our account and created a new account for our mother. I don't understand how he could have done that given it was our names on the account and not his. My mother didn't want to be staying with him and only went with him because she thought I was going to jail.

On Sept 25th I called my mother to asked her when she was coming home and she said she didn't know, it depends on when my brother let her go. I believed my brother was holding my mother against her will. My mom returned home and was there with me from Sep 30th-Oct 14th. On Oct 14th my brother came back for her the day before our court case. On Oct 15th when we appeared in court my brother lied that he suffered many broken bones from our fight but he was the one that attempted to kill me by hitting me with his truck. But they said he had a right to retaliate. The judge was biased and order a restraining order against me both for my brother and mother. The case is ongoing and they are expecting to have a jury trial on April 6,7 and April 8. The case was taken to court because my mother added my name on her deed. They are saying that my mother shouldn't have added me to the deed as she was not in the right frame of mind to do so. They are saying that I signed the deed. My brother has sold all of our mother's personal property and has taken her money amount to 80K but they are yelling and screaming at me, accusing me of selling my mother property. The police were in on it with XXXX. My brother now has my mother living in a trailer park house and has taken over her house. They have also asked me to move out of my mother's house because of the restraining order. My mother wants me to come home but I can't move into the house with her, so I don't know how I'm going to get my mother away from him. My mother don't want to live with XXXX. My brother has kidnapped our mother and coerced her. My mother gave me a paper that says if she should die everything goes to me.

My lawyer XXXX XXXX handling the case is also not helping. I paid him $3500 and he didn't even appeal the restraining order. My lawyer was trying to have me take a settlement offer of 100K while my brother gets 500K but I don't think that would be fair and I believe that they are trying to scam me and my mother. None of my brothers have done any work on the house and I had spent money on my mother's house. My mother has always wanted to add me to the deed but I was delaying doing so because I felt I was not ready for the responsibilities. Also, the 80K that Richard took from my mother was my money because over the years I have been giving my mother money to set aside. I gave her 40k from my supplementary settlement, 15k from my mobile home burning down, 17500 for my temporary disability settlement, 1000 from selling my Porsche, 3500 for selling my tracker, 2500 from selling another vehicle, and 500 for my wave runner.

I am a landlord in San Francisco looking to find an affordable lawyer. I had already went through mediation with my tenant XXXX XXXX but she is now pursuing to take the matters to court. However, the issues that she is complaining about have already been resolved. I rented upstairs a one-bedroom apartment to her and her three children and she made a complaint to the rent board about the garbage that was downstairs in the backyard that it should not be there. She doesn't have access to the backyard only the tenant downstairs does as this is her back bedroom. The only access that she has is to the side gate. She told the mediator that I told her she could use the backyard but she has never used it. The backyard also has always been used by the tenant downstairs and there is nothing in our contract that states the tenant upstairs has access to the backyard. Also, there is no place for her to go in the backyard. There is no patio, no furniture, nothing but grass and weeds. I offered her $2000 as well as a rent reduction of $100 per month for the next year and she decline the offers. Instead, she would like to sue me for 50K. The  issue with the garbage was taken care of as I had asked the tenant downstairs to clean it up and she has done so. It took some time to remove the garbage because the tenant downstairs has five children and she only lives there part-time as she has to travel back and forth from Sacramento and San Francisco because her mother helps with taking care of her children. She also had four complaints and that could be why she is asking for more money.


She complained about the leak in her living room since she moved in, in 2017. My husband went throughout the years inspecting it and there was no leak but he patched the living room ceiling.

There was a storm in Oct 2021 and there was a big leak in her kitchen and water was coming from the roof into her kitchen which she showed me videos and pictures of the water running. We were out of town so we mentioned to her to get an estimate for immediate repairs. When we came back I immediately called several roofers to get an estimate for a brand new roof and scheduled an appointment with them to change the entire roof. There is now a brand new roof that was done by a licensed roofer. The whole time we were in communication with her, letting her know the updates and she was corporative.

In September we were on a cruise and the water heater from the tenant downstairs busted and the water squirted upstairs and wet her stairs and she complained about the water and the steam. We changed the runner and plastic and everything was repaired.

She has been a good tenant, the only reason she is trying to sue is because of the neighbor and friends telling her to do so. My husband is a Vietnamese veteran and we are seniors on a fixed income. Everything was taken care of so I don't know why she would want to sue for 50K. There has not yet been a court date, so I'm hoping she does not file the lawsuit.

I have a question about real estate. I'm looking to purchase 3 parcels of land in Humble county California and wanted to know if the previous owner had racked up over 900,000 in fines for not cleaning his premises if that fine remains with him or will it be transferred to me the new owner?

I was advised by the real estate agency that the fine remains with the previous owner but I wanted to seek legal advice on this. The previous owner has not complied with the courts paying the fines and two years later he is putting the land on the market and I just wanted to know if that amount will be transferred to me? The supervisor said there are two stages. Stage A and stage B and because this was in stage A and not so detrimental it stays with the previous owner.

I live in California and was wondering if  my case is a civil rights case or not. Two years ago one of my neighbors started stalking me and since then it has rubbed off on several of them. Where they are stalking and harassing me. I believed it is due to me being a transgender. They have been organizing against me to the point where they are making false reports to the police for me to get arrested. The police have been to my door over a dozen times in the past two months but have not been able to arrest me because I have done nothing wrong, not even a citation I have never received. One of the people stalking me is an ex-lawyer, who plays a major role in them harassing me. The same person followed me to the park one night. I was approached by one of them saying that they want me out. They are stalking my place, standing outside my apartment at 3:00 am nightly and I have footage of them doing this. This has affected me so much. They have also gotten non-residence involved. I need an attorney because I'm having a property problem with my tenants. My property is in Pittsburg. I rented my house to a family of three. They have been living there for 10 years and the past three months they have failed to pay their rent. I already gave them a 30 days eviction notice which was up last month and they refused to move out. They don't want to leave and they have vandalized my property and assaulted me. They don't want to pay their rent and when I asked about it, they are saying that my house is rat-infested. Wanted to get a consultation on a civil matter with a local dealership. Per the contract it says arbitration. 

Purchased the car with financing on 11/2 was supposed to pay the bank on 12/17 called multiple but the bank told me they couldn’t find the file and would call me back. On 1/5/21 got a message to call the dealership and she said the bank denied me but to make payments with them and they would try again in 2 months. Had issues when I got the car but they told me it was all normal. However, now can’t drive it. The owner got it towed and said he would get a loaner. They ignored me for a week and said that it was the transmission. But no warranty and per contract warranty was purchased on 11/2. So they said they would end everything and will not give me any money back. It’s more to it but that’s the basics. And that the contract was voided.

The landlord was arrested and charged with assault and battery and interfering with police communication. My dad and I got scammed for almost 10K. My father XXXX XXXX was taken to the Superior Health Center in Glendale California March of last year where he was treated for Neuropathy and nerve pain. He was supposed to have 12 sessions but the last 5 sessions he missed because he was sick. He was given a laser procedure which should have been different for the condition he had. The clinic refunded around $700 of the amount but I don't think it's fair to pay almost $9300 for treatment that didn't work.

Well, I need help in my case but I am having a hard time with trust to any attorney law help. Because my last attorney for my company had a low ball settlement a false statement injury case. I wanted to report an incident that happened to me on Aug 13. I was kidnapped by captain XXXX XXXX Los Angeles county. He said I fell and hit my head. The paramedic grabbed me out of the place I was at. They said I fell and hit my head but I didn't. By the time they grabbed me, its the time I lost consciousness and I woke up 5 days later in the ICU room. From Aug 13-Aug 18 they had me strapped down in bed. There were hoses everywhere even an oxygen tank. I use psychology on the nurse and told her I wanted to use the bathroom and she opens the straps and that's how I manage to escape.
