  Discrimination against insurance company
Posted by: Samoya - 05-20-2021, 03:56 PM - Forum: Arbitration questions - Replies (1)

Here is a previous question that was asked by ***(Identity withheld for privacy reason).

My husband is disabled and types 1 diabetic. His insurance is discriminating against him in the form of insulin intake, since he uses a pump to deliver insulin will only cover 80% of the cost of his insulin the copayment is $345.00. If he were to use a syringe to deliver insulin he would only have to pay$9.00 every 3 months. The insurance company hasn’t paid for his insulin in over 2 years. In which we struggle to pay for life-saving medicine and caused depression, financial problems. I want to see if we have a case.

  How to begin Arbitration

Hello, my wife, has been in email contact with your firm. We are interested in learning more about USAC and probably going ahead to use your service. To understand exactly the terms of your service we need to read your actual contract that we would be signing. Our claim is for $16,000+.  So, if not resolved through mediation, it would be a simple arbitration with documents only, for only one arbitrator at the American Arbitration Association. Thank you for your cooperation and help.

International Civil Law: Arrested in Belgium
Posted by: Nerine - 05-20-2021, 03:41 PM - Forum: Past or Current cases - No Replies

Here is a previous question that was asked by *** (Identity withheld for privacy reason)

6, almost 7, days my father was arrested. On the first day, nothing was told to us (his family) or anyone else. Do we have a right to see him, can you help? He actively works at "GetTransfer" and almost every day drives random people to random places in and out of Belgium. Yes, he lives in Belgium, that is where he drove a man, who is hunted in all Europe (based in France). He, obviously, didn't know that the man was a hunted criminal, he just drove him a few times to the destination he said. And he went through the "GetTransfer" system, so it can be checked. He is held, because of something, perhaps that he might (just might, that is obviously NOT) help the man transfer illegal substances. Can a lawyer call the embassies involved?

  Service cost and procedure

I'm in Florida how much does your service cost? I need to start arbitration against Chime Bank for violations of Regulation E of the Electronic Transfer Act. Per their banking disclosure, I have to use arbitration. I need help with the whole process, I'm supposed to use AAA according to their agreement but I have to write a letter of Intent to start the process and I haven't a clue and AAA can't help me with that.

  Unpaid equipment dispute in Kuwait

I have unpaid television credit to Excite Al-Ghanim store in Kuwait because I left the country last 2017 and got another job in another country now there is an agent that messages me and my wife threatening us that I am in big trouble if I will not pay for this. Is it true that they can send you to jail for this case? By the way, the television is worth around $700.

  Consumer Complaints
Posted by: Nerine - 05-19-2021, 06:36 PM - Forum: Arbitration questions - No Replies

There is a website called Prestigia.com that posts on their website free cancellations. However, when you go to cancel your reservation, they then say they enact force majeure and will only return the money via voucher. If I had known this before booking, I wouldn't have used them. My credit card company says that because I allowed the charge there's nothing I can do. The hotel that I booked actually allows for full refunds. There are other customers reporting the same complaints. They are holding $1500!

Isn't this considered false advertising since they stated "free cancellation" but didn't disclose upfront that they wouldn't return the money?

  International Law Dispute
Posted by: Nerine - 05-19-2021, 06:31 PM - Forum: Past or Current cases - No Replies

I will attach to you a letter that we have sent to the United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) in Geneva.

This letter has been handed to the office of the UNDP in Khartoum Sudan, but no response yet within a long period of time (from 18 Jan 2021), almost four months ago. No step forward has been taken.

We ask you to help us restore our rights that were stolen by the government of Sudan, the corrupt former government of Al-Bashir,  which seized the compensation granted to us like other victims of the Gulf War in all countries of the world.

  XRP lawsuit
Posted by: Samoya - 05-19-2021, 06:08 PM - Forum: Past or Current cases - No Replies

A federal judge in the United States has granted a motion by XRP holders to intervene in a lawsuit against Ripple Labs by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The judge gave the token holders until April 19 to submit their motion to intervene in the high-profile case.

“The Court has reviewed the parties’ and proposed intervenors’ letters […]. Accordingly, the proposed intervenors’ request for leave to file a motion to intervene is GRANTED,” ruled Judge Analisa Torres of the Southern District of New York.

Please see a question that was previously asked by a client.

I live in a condo community and we have a rule that states we are not allowed to store any vehicle in our garages that does not belong to us and insured in our name. This has to do with insurance, liability, and common ground issues. However, somebody has asked me to store one of their many vehicles in my garage regardless of this rule (which they know about). If I were to comply and stored their vehicle and something happened to it (heaven forbid), what is my responsibility and liability? Thanks so much for your help and time!
