How would I go about suing the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department for putting charges on me that were dropped because there wasn't enough evidence? I was locked up on 5/13/21 for attempted murder and gun charges but they dropped it on March 7, 2022, because there wasn't enough evidence. I've paid 5,000 for a lawyer and sat in jail for 6 months. And they blasted my name all over the news.
