I am being charged with welfare fraud and perjury. The case is from December 2019 but it was filed by the Los Angeles district attorney on January 2021. I wasn’t aware of any court date but I received a call last Friday from the number XXXX but the person didn’t state their name. The person told me that I missed the court date and I need to get down to the West Temple Court in Los Angeles, California. I am not sure but I think the court date was for the first Thursday of June. The person didn’t give me any additional information so I don’t know if there is a next court date and I am unable to provide you with more information about the case. I would like some representation for when I do go to the court.
