There is a website called Prestigia.com that posts on their website free cancellations. However, when you go to cancel your reservation, they then say they enact force majeure and will only return the money via voucher. If I had known this before booking, I wouldn't have used them. My credit card company says that because I allowed the charge there's nothing I can do. The hotel that I booked actually allows for full refunds. There are other customers reporting the same complaints. They are holding $1500! Isn't this considered false advertising since they stated "free cancellation" but didn't disclose upfront that they wouldn't return the money? |
