Here is a previous question that was asked by *** (Identity withheld for privacy reason) I want to un-adopt a stepson that I have had no contact with for 4 years. He is now 23 years old. His father was abusive and an addict. I left to provide my children a happier home. His son - the one that I adopted - couldn't leave with me and was brainwashed against me. I have since remarried and all the children are grown adults. I haven't seen my adopted stepson in many years. My ex has put out rumors that when my parents pass away, he will make sure his son inherits money. My parents have written in their will, that he is to be left with nothing. |
