Here is a previous case by *** (Identity withheld for privacy reasons). I just wanted to find out some more information about your company handles and if my situation at hand qualifies. I drive a 2022 ford bronco sport and I hit a deer on 9/20/22. There were about 11,500 worth of damages. Everything was completed by 10/1/22 besides one part the repair shop is waiting for. They have ordered the part multiple times as well as the ford dealership. The part being received has the right part # but does not fit. A copis claim was opened with Ford on 10/7/22 and there is still no solution. The part is not on backorder. Ford has not had any communication since 10/14/22 and still has not sent the correct part. In the meantime, I’ve made two car payments, car insurance, etc while my vehicle is off road and ford has no solution to the problem. My financing is also through ford. Under Georgia lemon law with my understanding even if it is not a warranty issue or something faulty with the vehicle no matter the fault if it’s off road for over 30 days it qualifies or qualifies for buy back program. I just want some guidance and information but I can’t justify continuing to pay for a vehicle I do not have and there is no solution either. |
