Here is a previous case by *** (Identity withheld for privacy reasons).
I am on a cryptocurrency platform BKcoin Max and I have $221,000 tied up in my account. This morning I went to withdraw and they are saying that I need to pay tax to get the money. I have been on the platform for two months, and they said I have to pay tax, and they never sent any statement showing that. Nothing in the policy said that I have to pay taxes. They directly violated the terms and conditions of their privacy agreement. Paying taxes should be my personal business.
