Tenant abandoned rental unit - josephpinnock - 02-10-2022 Here is a previous case by *** (Identity withheld for privacy reason). I want to get a lawyer who handles eviction notices. I own a single-family house in California which I rented to a tenant who moved out about a year and a half ago to go live in Kentucky. When she moved out she let her mother move in and her mother let her friends move in. I have tried everything to get them out but they refused to move out. The rent is around $1115 per month which she has paid once or twice and has not paid now for close to a year. The first tenant has abandoned the unit and I have made every effort to try and contact her and she has done nothing to get our rental back. I've applied for rental assistance and the tenant has been unresponsive. We are out of pocket quite a bit of money and need to get them out. I don't have the lease agreement handy and my daughter handles my finance. |
