I am trying to contact lawyersbywinrate. I'm seeking a lawyer by referral. My father passed away and he may have left his wife (my mother) out of his will and we wanted to contest it. My father verbally and physically abused my mother and for her to save her life we had to leave but she remained married to him for decades. Now he has passed and disowned her in his will and I'm afraid that this may affect how his property is shared. Usually, when a husband dies, the wife takes control of his estate unless she abandoned him. In her case, it would not be considered abandonment as she left to stay alive.

The will is not probated as yet but the executor let me know I was one of the beneficiaries.
