After St. Patrick’s Day this year, I was driving to buy some groceries but the motor home died on me. Since it is about a 10 minutes trip to town, I decided to hitchhike and I borrow $100 from my friend to buy gas. When I went back to my motor home, two female police officers came up to me saying that I am drunk in public, and handcuff me then threw me in the back of the police car. The handcuff hurt my arms and I am right handed but now I can barely use my right wrist.

I don’t know the names of the officers. They took me to the Colorado County Jail and kept me there for 24 hours. Their breathe analyzer wasn’t working and they didn’t even take blood sample. They didn’t give me any cell, they just gave me a blanket and a chair.

Is there any legal action I can take against the two officers?
